Principal Engineering Product Manager

This is a highly visible position with a rare opportunity to lead the new line of business from an early phase. He or she reports directly to the CEO. The Product Manager is the “owner” of all aspects of the product from concept to end-of-life. This person defines new product ideas using their knowledge of market dynamics, customer needs, technology readiness and company execution ability to define the right products to meet business objectives.  This position requires a seasoned technologist with proven engineering acumen who is also self-motivated and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.  Successful candidates must be highly adept at organic leadership in a multi-disciplinary fast-design-cycle environment, but will not be long removed from hands-on execution of high-tech engineering.  

This is also a customer-facing role where you build relationships with executives and technical leaders in customer and partner companies.  

Objectives & Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Engineering Product Manager at Ainstein are a blend of traditional technical lead, product management and project management. Understand, internalize, and evangelize the product vision and market opportunity, and work to align engineering efforts with that vision across both short-term development efforts and long-term roadmaps.

  • Engaging customers and our own field staff to collect customer and market requirements
  • Defining new products for the automotive radar product line (product requirements, business case, competitive outlook)
  • Managing core aspects of product for the full life cycle (definition to end-of-life) – target applications, core value proposition, pricing, market opportunity
  • Teaming with engineering teams to schedule requirements, features and functionalities to product line commercial releases
  • Teaming with the field staff to drive internal response to RFI/RFQ’s, provide pricing and terms that can be offered in specific customer negotiations to close a deal
  • Teaming with Go-to-Market managers to align outbound marketing and field sales tools
  • Possibilities for public activities such as acting as product spokesperson with press & analysts as well as public speaking at industry events
  • Global role with domestic and international travel

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BS in engineering — advanced technical degree or MBA a plus
  • 1-4 years of experience in engineering or product management for Radar product, ideally at an automotive Tier1, OEM, or semiconductor supplier with examples of products that have gone through definition, development and production release
  • Must demonstrate effective ability to lead, drive and influence cross functional teams
  • Ability and judgement to prioritize activity to achieve overall goals in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • An “ownership” mindset where you feel responsible for the overall success of the product
  • Must have right to work in United States

Senior Automotive Radar System Engineer / Research Scientist

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Automotive Radar System Engineer / Research Scientist to lead the engineering and R&D activities for our automotive radar product line. The Sr. Automotive Radar System Engineer is responsible for the architecture definition, requirement development, hardware and software design and development, performance analysis, signal processing algorithms design, verification and validation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new radar systems concepts and signal processing algorithms for automotive radar systems.
  • Support definition of radar system and technology development strategies, roadmaps and execution plans
  • Requirements management and analysis, including requirement allocation, traceability, verification
  • Radar integration and low-level signal processing
  • Radar software development and Radar perception algorithms development

Qualifications

  • MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
  • 3 years of experience in radar systems design, integration, and test
  • Experience with C programming language
  • Experience in embedded or real-time software development
  • Experience in waveform definition, detection, and estimation techniques, digital signal processing and specification of subsystem requirements
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership to a team, coordinating multiple activities and negotiating the resolution.

Sales Executive Lead

We are seeking a full-time Business Development/Sales Executive Lead. We are looking for a high performance, result-oriented professional that will hunt for revenue opportunities, and negotiate and drive partnerships in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of the self-driving car, drone, and other emerging markets.  You will have the rare opportunity to build a sales team from the ground up.

  • Responsible for revenue generation and growth of all markets for the company; includes growing existing key accounts as well as leading strategic marketing efforts to identify growth opportunities within different verticals.
  • Defines the addressable markets for the company, identifies target customers, develops sales materials, determines the value proposition, and proposes solutions based on engineering inputs and his/her market insights
  • Identifies, develops and maintains business growth opportunities with strategic customers by building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer contacts across multiple departments
  • Develop long-term customer relationship with deep understanding of customers’ needs and wants
  • Negotiate favorable terms to minimize financial obligations, maximize profitability, and minimize operational obligations for Ainstein
  • Communicate partner/industry insights to engineering while representing a strong understanding of Ainstein product portfolio, value proposition and market vision 

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering, or Business field from a four year college or university.  A minimum of 3 years experience performing a sales role. B2B sales experience in semiconductor and automobile tier 1 suppliers are highly desired but not required. Other qualifications include:

  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years business development and/or marketing experience Demonstrates a proven track record in engagement and passion for technology business development  
  • Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation, takes initiative operating with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, changing environment and ability to act effectively with little direction
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience which appropriately balance risk and reward
  • Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Leadership abilities for partnerships and cross functional team leadership skills
  • Ability to learn and understand new technology with natural curiosity to understand concepts below the surface.
  • Ability to travel internationally /domestically up to 30% of the time
  • Candidates with a Masters of Business Administration degree and 5+ years of applicable work experience are highly preferred!

E-Commerce Manager

We’re looking for an E-Commerce Manager to join the team to oversee our company’s online sales. He/she is responsible for development and maintenance of our online store, monitoring web traffic, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the compelling and up-to-date online content, and constantly improving the online store and running marketing initiatives to drive sales.  If you’re interested in becoming part of a dynamic team working towards a goal of substantial growth, learning new e-commerce skills and are willing to give 100% to everything you do, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities

  • Complete customer lifecycle management; be the first line of support in responding to all inbound customer inquiries; order shipment and after-sale customer follow-ups
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales and marketing to create meaningful e-commerce marketing campaigns to increase conversion rate and grow sales
  • Utilize optimization marketing tools to drive traffic from search engines to appropriate / designated product pages.
  • Compile and analyze sales data and market trends to help steer future strategy discussions.
  • Define and execute marketing campaigns to drive sales, utilizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO), PPC,CMS, Social Media, Email marketing.
  • Developing programs to encourage customer reviews on Ainstein social media
  • Monitor the inventory level and ensure the products are in-stock   
  • Updating website for new mobile or computer systems to appeal to current and future customers   

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in managing e-commerce marketing and sales, and e-commerce market development
  • Experience with search engine marketing, digital campaigns, interactive marketing, e-commerce merchandising, content management, website design/user interface
  • Self-starter who proactively identifies and addresses changing e-commerce requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units. Strong skills in acting as a bridge between business needs and technical team
  • Strong project management skills
