The WAYV Air should be mounted in a central location free from other objects. The unit can be mounted on the ceiling or the wall. Please avoid mounting the unit near the corner of the room to avoid multi-path reflections as this can cause performance degradation.
When the WAYV Air transmits a signal, sometimes that signal can reflect off more than one object, resulting in two or more signals returning to the sensor. This is what is defined as multi-path reflections and can cause performance issues such as ghost targets.
When the WAYV Air detects multiple targets for the same person or object, these are referred to as ghost targets. Please contact support@ainstein.ai for additional support in resolving this issue.
